This is where we camped while I learned metalmithing at the Quartzsite Gem and Mineral Club in AZ. Pea Island is an inspiration for so much of my work! We lived on Pea Island, in our RV, for 5 months while we volunteered there.  It was at that time that we decided the live and create jewelry on the Outer Banks.View from our RV while living on Pea Island -  You will notice the seagrass in many of my pieces.Pea Island Sunrise...an inspiration for so many pieces of jewelry.  While we lived on Pea Island, I photographed each sunrise then went hunting for sea glass. Check out the dolphins bodysurfing!  I use dolphins in some of my seaglass creations.Rich and I do turtle patrol one day a week during the summer.  We ride an ATV at dawn, looking for tracks turtles have made when they come on land to lay eggs. Bodie Island Lighthouse. I think the sunset looks like an American Flag.Hatteras Light House - While touring the country, we sought out and photographed lighthouses.  I think this lighthouse is the prettiest.  You will see it in many of my sea glass creations.Great Blue HeronThe entire Reflections line started with the piece  "Midnight Sail" due to my love of sailing. Our RV broke down in Needles, CA.  The nice tow truck driver took us off-roading in his jeep.  He showed us old, forgotten parts of RT. 66.  We came across this old car in the middle of the desert.
